Yakama and Lummi Nations' Historic Announcement 

On Indigenous Peoples’ Day, Yakama Nation, supported by Lummi Nation, called for the removal of John Day, The Dalles, and Bonneville dams. In doing so, the tribes announced a bold vision: a Columbia River teeming with salmon, a restored Celilo Falls, and a Pacific Northwest powered by clean energy.
