Victory!

You did it! The Wash. Dept. of Ecology (Ecology) denied a key permit for the world’s largest fracked gas-to-methanol refinery! In a massive blow to the project, Ecology cited significant negative impacts on our climate and Washington’s shorelines to deny a permit required to build and operate the refinery. Several Tribal Nations and thousands of people across the Northwest demanded that Gov. Inslee and Ecology protect our climate, the Columbia, and our communities from the destructive, polluting refinery. Join us in expressing heartfelt gratitude to Gov. Inslee and Ecology for rejecting this dirty, dangerous proposal once and for all.
